With the advent of HIPAA, we provided:
- HIPAA-compliant claim files in 2002
- Processing of HIPAA-compliant remittance files
- Processing of eligibility requests and responses
Most importantly, we stay in advance of regulations. As an example, elligence included NPI (National Provider Identifiers) in both paper and electronic claims shortly after NPIs were announced.
We have direct connections to major government payers around the country. We support a number of major clearinghouses. All in the HIPAA-compliant format.
