As you may be aware, there are many important changes taking place in healthcare.  There are electronic medical record requirements as well as changes to the way claims are billed - the ANSI 5010 spec and ICD-10 codes – to name a few.  These changes are being accommodated in our software - MDsuite.  They will NOT be available in CompuMedic.

There are two upgrade paths:

• Upgrade from CompuMedic to MDsuite.COMPLETE – a fully integrated system with both  Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Practice Management (EPM)
• Upgrade from CompuMedic to MDsuite.EPM (Electronic Practice Management only)

And two ways of using the system:

• Licensed:  MDsuite and your data files are placed on your server.  You are responsible for backups, hardware, database program (Microsoft SQL Server), annual support fees, and program updates.
• Hosted: The main MDsuite application and database program (Microsoft SQL Server) are located in a secure facility on Data Strategies’ servers.  Data Strategies performs backups, installs updates and maintains both software and hardware. 

In either case, you may access your data from any location having high speed Internet access.
